I have never been in the cabins here since i usually take my RV. i love this place, ive been here 2 times and am definitely coming back this summer. the only downside is that the wind blows a lot but if you want to go fishing there are tons of areas where its protected from the wind by the water. the veiws are amazing and everything is pretty well maintained. there is a black/grey water dump area on the way out of the campground.

We stayed at Rimrock Lake Resort for one night over Memorial Day weekend and had an outstanding experience. We called at the last minute looking for accommodations, and Joe, one of the owners, went out of his way to make sure our family had a place to stay. He was able to get us two RV sites with full hookups at a very reasonable price, even during a busy holiday weekend.What really stood out was the level of customer service we received. When it was time to leave, we ran into some unexpected issues with our travel trailer. Joe did everything he could to help us and was even willing to let us leave our trailer there until after the holiday if needed. Thankfully, we were able to get everything figured out, but knowing he was willing to help took a lot of stress off our shoulders.From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we immediately booked another trip for the Fourth of July weekend.The new owners, Joe, Joe, and Jess, are incredibly friendly and clearly take pride in what they do. It’s refreshing to see a place in the area getting a true facelift. You can tell they have invested countless hours, hard work, and money into improving the resort and making it a destination people want to return to.In addition to the RV sites, they offer paddleboard rentals, canoe rentals, cabin rentals, and even sell gasoline for boats, dirt bikes, quads, and other recreational vehicles. The atmosphere is very family-friendly and welcoming to kids, making it a great place to relax and get away for a weekend.We highly recommend Rimrock Lake Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous upgrades by the new owners!! Well stocked mini mart, super friendly staff, clean outhouse and easy on/off 12. Lots of camping and right on the lake. You can get fuel on the water for boats now too!! 🎉 no fuel for cars though, fyi. Can also rent kayaks!

Over memorial day weekend, two employees helped me out when I was in a pinch. A few of the other businesses nearby would not. Thank you again!

A Hidden Gem on Rimrock Lake This place is truly a hidden gem. The resort is clearly under new ownership and the improvements are obvious everywhere — clean, upgraded, and updated while still keeping the relaxed lake atmosphere. They even added a convenient little store on site.I stayed one night in the Lake View Lodge while traveling for business. In the evening I walked along the trail around Rimrock Lake Resort in almost spring-like weather.The RV sites are spectacular — several appear fully surrounded by the lake water below, with an amazing panoramic view across the lake and the surrounding hills.The resort is now open all year long, which makes it even more special.In winter you’re right next to a ski resort, and in summer it’s ideal for boating since the property has a boat launch and the only marina on Rimrock Lake.Another great feature is a naturally protected lagoon-like area of the lake, almost like a safe pool within the lake itself — perfect for relaxing by the water.The next morning was unforgettable: waking up warm and cozy in an incredibly comfortable bed, looking out over a snow-covered landscape with full sunshine and a front-row view of the lake, hills, and surrounding mountains. By noon the snow had already melted again and it felt like spring.The location is also perfect for visiting Mount Rainier, fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying the outdoors.Super friendly and helpful host in the shop and at the counter.I will definitely be back — next time for leisure with my RV or in one of the lakeside cabins. Hopefully the secret doesn’t spread too quickly… otherwise it may be fully booked when I try to return.
